Uh huh. So you really believe that the SEC lost the paper work, no, the lawyers didn't send it in, or maybe the dog ate it?

Doesn't matter. It is not a crime to be delinquent filing a form that is, effectively, a ministerial act. There was clearly no criminal intent, could not have been fraud, and no crime was committed.

Regardless, he doesn't really understand what happened when he sold nearly $1 million of stock the day before Harken had to restate earnings. And that was a mere coincidence...

This is a lie. There were two months between the earnings announcement and the sale of stock. The stock was sold before the quarter in which the earnings drop was announced.

And, the fact is, that in 1990 a quarterly drop in earnings wasn't something to get excited about. Only after a decade of Irrational Exhuberance (fueled by a lying administration) does a drop of quarterly earnings matter, anyway.

Liberals cannot find anything on Bush so they have to resort to out and out lies in an effort to smear him. Funny. You learned your job well from Mssrs. Carville & Begala (and Clinton, of course).
