The VIX is getting there: stockcharts.com[g,a]decayyay[dd][pa38.56][vc60][ilo240][J4811274,Y]&listNum=13

Long term, I could see the SPX dropping below 400. stockcharts.com[g,a]decayyay[dd][pa38.56][vc60][ilo240][J4811274,Y]&listNum=13

Softie, since I know how you crave validation form the pros:
Byrini (sp?) Assoc. was on Bloomberg this am and said that last 13 bears have averaged 28.5% drop. Since this bear didn't officially start until yesterday (!!!) that would put S&P500 at ~846. Wasn't that in your broad scope a week or two ago?

Doug

Note: The yesterday thing had to do with when S&P500 went 20% below it's peak. DM
