You are not nuts to think that. I live in SA and prefer not to invest in too many local stocks. The reason is, for me, not political because there isn't much of a risk in that regard, but affirmative action and maladministration. I live in SA and am quite happy to take my chances with the political risk -- at least for the foreseeable future. Although many people like to make the association, South Africa is not Zimbabwe.

I certainly don't envisage a problem for non-South Africans who wish to hold SA mining stocks, especially when the outlook for them is good, like now.
