Goergeous garden work, Scott! You really know what you're doing, thanks for sharing those!

For a Garden Designer/General Contractor in need of documenting your work, the G2 is ideal. I'd venture a guess that you're going to fall in love with it, and your analog equipment will start gathering dust. (g)

I'm a live entertainment photographer, so shutter lag is an absolute nono:

But you're right, just like calculators of yore, digital cameras are bound to get better and cheaper. Matter of time.

I do play with a rock bottom digital toy, for kicks, The Eyemodule2, which is a module for the Handspring PDA:

It's truly only a toy, but I'm having a blast with it, for kicks:

I enjoyed looking at your garden photographs. Your work combines great designs with excellent execution. The images were well worth the time to load, even using dial-up.

Thank-you, FD

Looking at the photographs of your gardens, I feel as if I'm walking on the paths, smelling the aromatic air, and listening to birds, breezes, and water. It's a real treat to be transported to such beautiful surroundings, if only for a moment, and only in my imagination.

Thank-you for sharing your work with us on SI.

Cheers, PW.

P.S. I called The Commander into my office to look at your work. He pointed out some details I missed. The more we looked, the more we enjoyed what was shown.

We especially liked the way you made the surroundings fit the house in scottmantzgardens.com
