You're so full of it with your rightwing brain vaporlock. A lot of good it did us going there and perpetuating that war and illegally going into Cambodia. The mistake we made was letting the French have VietNam after WWII, and then following up on their incompetence with our own. Not that there's anything wrong with our fighting men. But they were there because war is good for the economy, no matter they were given substandard equipment, some of which they had to purchase on the black market. No matter they came back with drug habits which would sweep this country. Hell, the republicans got their blood money and that's all that counts.
