Wouldn't that be nice!

I really think that the global economy is the wild card that most of the bears are overlooking. The role of the U.S. in the world economy is waning. The next move will be driven by the "emerging" economies that have been forgotten about since the Asian crisis in in 1998. Since American companies have a much larger part of their business abroad than ever before, they will benefit from this shift. The decline in the dollar will provide a significant boost to earnings.
