Excellent Post Mike... many thanks for the friendship and for writing it. When you've been around the markets for 20 plus years and around SI a while one learns a few things a long the way.

Both the Capital Markets, SI and our lives themselves are a process that has a timeline that they unfold along.

Patience is a tremendous virtue in life. Patience enables things to be drawn in to you.

Since everyone on the planet is fundamentally curious on some level and everyone is looking for at least a few answers a patient person simply waiting for the annointed hour to arrive

..... life.... the Markets..... it's a cyclical process.

You can not define the peaks or highs in your life without the low periods.

It reminds us to be thankful for all the many little things each day. It's those little things that count.

I'm sponsoring 3 young children tonight at 6:30 pm. 450 kids from the 3rd and 5th ward are being busses up to our church. We take them out for dinner and out to get something nice to wear on their first day of school and also school supplies at Randall's.

I'm looking forward to it and I already know that it's going to be the thing that I remember most about this day at year end.

and it will most likely even put a smile on my face. :-)

John
