Re: Trading floors continue to buzz. The latest is talk that a tier one broker is about to upgrade SUNW today; It makes sense. Pretty much all of the Federal agencies (at least, the corners of them into which I have visibility) have been been messed up since the last election. The transition was late and disorganized because of the Florida Fiasco, and about the time the current administration finally was starting to settle in, the 9/11 horror took place, and everything froze up again. There is quite a bit of money that has to be spent between now and the the end of the fiscal year (September for most programs at most agencies) and some likely beneficiaries could be Sun and Gateway, two companies that, from what I've seen, are particularly strong in the Federal sector ( both stocks may still be priced too high - I know nothing about the stock of either) but they may both have good Q3s.
