Vet, that's perceptive. Most traders and investors don't really how carefully these huge Power Players micromanage the Markets. They make money on volatility. We lose big, they win big. We win, they win more.

If they can cause the Market to follow them with their buy or sell programs, they've got it made. The last few months, the traders have all followed their lead. One clear advantage they have is that they can win big on a relatively small move, unlike the rest of us. They rarely let us win since they take the Market the other way oftentimes as soon as the buy or sell side volume slows. We never know when a reversal will occur. They often do, especially when no major news is present to influence all of us. The buy and sell programs this week are classic. They have occurred largely for no reason. There certainly wasn't major news to cause 200-400 swings in the Dow.
