T2: Re: "So my question: Would you short an early pop or later in the day? After hours it looks somewhat like Cisco news back in May..pushing QQQs to max pain. This time around QQQs don't have far to go (26). Will be interesting to see ig the futures gains increase (maybe double) by morning same as in May."

I will short on strength via autopilot using the open as my first entry point (gap-up assumed) and then averaging up if the market climbs. First entry position size will depend on how much they want to screw the shorts. Not sure of SPX, QQQ and DIA mix. Using the SPX and DIA this round was a good choice in addition to QQQS. Nice to see some pukage in the Dow finally. These are not meant as day trades.

Re: "I guess it was Dell---but 1 cent and 100million in additional revenue does not seem like great news to me...could that be a big disappointment versus what was probably expected??"

It is not news. It is an excuse IMO.
