You stated before that you consider them "moderate".

I said, "Note that Hamas is now more moderate than the mainstream in Israel", because they are endorsing UN 242, and the Israeli mainstream does not. This, of course, assumes that one single Hamas' press release accurately summarizes their position. Since they are the most extreme of Palestinian factions, this could change. Now, compare this view of theirs (UN 242 is good - Let's do it) to the views of the Jewish fundamentalists who control one third of the Israeli Knesset. Comparatively, Hamas comes off smelling like a rose.

As for the bombing, I am against it. However, I recognize the desperation of the Palestinians and the hatred that they feel emanating from Israel every single day of their lives.
