But it's often better to take a smaller position to stay cool, and hold onto <the vision thing>, by keeping those pesky emotions (we all have) out of the trade.

In soccer, it's sometimes called <playing within yourself>. Over time, you just keep raising the level of play where you're comfortable, till you're making plays that are blowing peoples minds. My younger son built his soccer game that way.

Each time, your position will be a little bigger. And, it's more fun.
