Cheryl, I agree with you ... but political uncertainty is not the only issue for equities ... domestically, the markets did not respond too badly to Xerox, Enron, Global Crossing, etc ... but the straw-that-broke-the-camel's-back was the accumulation of concern about dishonesty in American companies which was then topped by WorldCom ... otherwise, I believe we would be in a nice summer rally now ... ... and if there are a few more big corporate admissions coming up and waiting to break in this atmosphere ... and one of them happens to be an IBM, Ford, Cisco, GE, Citybank or JP Morgan-Chase, watch out equities ... ... my 2 cents ...
