I do not paint this issue as black and white. There ARE corrupt conservatives and democrats of integrity. But it is an irrefutable fact that most Democrats will lie more readily than will most Republicans, and that Democrats generally have less integrity than do Republicans. It is systematic, and there is a reason for it (which I have pointed out here innumerable times).

The fact is only in your head.

Even the most moral of Democrats (Lieberman?) has shown himself to be a sorry scoundrel. While there are Republican scoundrels, there are certainly many, many Republicans of integrity. You just don't often find a liberal of integrity. Sorry, but that's a fact; it isn't the liberals' fault -- this is just the way liberal belief systems work (or don't work).

You have a bias that slants your view. Some Dems are honest and some are not; some Reps. are honest and some are not. I suspect statistically they probably reflect the general population.

Having said that, all you had to do was to watch Bush re the Harken issue to know that he was lying. But you refuse to see that because it would not fit your bias. That's why political types are able to fool people
