You missed the point: I did not say that Saddam was a peaceful man who didn't want to hurt others. I simply said he was made out to be more dangerous to Americans than he ever could be. Once again you were caught with your pants down! That's disgraceful especially when you profess to be able to help others! BTW, your spelling needs improvement. Disgraceful! When it comes to killing innocents, the U.S. does not have a lily-white reputation either. Many innocent Vietnamese were killed by indiscriminate napalm bombings and Agent Orange. Remember the My Lai massacre and other massacres most of which went unmentioned!!! during and after the War in Vietnam. And the recent American action in Afghanistan that killed so many innocents! One difference is that there's no machinery making much fuss of this whereas a lot of fuss has been made of Saddam's actions. By the way, covert CIA operations all over the world have resulted in many innocent people killed over the years. But no one made fuss about this, and so hardly anyone noticed. I believe Saddam has the right to kill his enemies, be they Kurds or Kuwaitis or Americans and allies, just as the U.S. exercises it might and right to kill its enemies, too. In any war, occasions occur when foul is fair and fair is foul. To me, too much fuss is made about Saddam's activities for the sheer mileage that could be got in rallying total support for war against him. By the way, I did not mention that going to war against Saddam is a no-no or unnecessary. If the US wants Saddam out, why not act fast and quietly instead of indulging in a lot of mind games. After all, action speaks louder than words! Don't try to put words into other people's mouths. Learn to read well, and to spell well, too.
