EBAY - there was at least one downgrade of ebay in the last 8 months, maybe 2. i forget who, but it wasn't to hold...it was from 9equivalent of) strong buy to buy...

don't forget, meg's on the board of GSCO (i believe?).
it's a crowded short, and although their rate of growth from auctions has slowed / stopped, and they're obscuring HUGE options costs, and other internal number fudging...it's still a crowded short.

I remember when I got on the short ERTS bandwagon last year... I made a few cents but the market basically held it up as the fundos caught up..... no big correction... we were at the beginning of the games upgrade cycle....

MS calls Dell a PIG..... but compare DELL's last few years to AZO's 90's chart.... basically it is forming a big long base.... as long as DELL stays credible the market will support the stock at higher levels until it breaks out and bases at a new nosebleed level.... you can play little swings like MS suggests.... but no big sustained move down...

EBAY fits in this category... forming a base high 40s to 70s.... here it will stay until it breaks out... IMO

I'm usually out by the end of each day.... playing both sides....

Amazingly, every stock I mentioned here yesterday did nicely... though a few novice shorters, hit the issues with market short orders as the issues moved higher....

To fill the short, the MM usually has to gap an issue down.... the trademark of a market order short....
