Biotech investing just isn't what it used to be. In the old days, you used to find basket leverage at reasonable risk. Now, you need to first look for biotech's gadflies, the market's ambulance chasers. I've made the mistake, recently and twice, of walking into "no win" situations where slimeball whiners and attorneys determine the near-term viability of an investment, not potential medicines.

I really don't want to continue to watch this crap, partly as it's my nature to fight back. But, moreover, like someone who chooses to avoid violent movies, I just plain don't want to be exposed to it. I don't WANT to learn about the methods that deep-pocket bullies use to control share prices. I don't WANT to learn more about the Street and how money is made. It makes me feel dirty, contaminated.
