I understand where you're coming from, too. I just can't get exercised over it the way you do. I filter out almost all of the crap. So it's hard for me to debate the issue with you point by point the way you seem to want. When some piece of crap clogs up my filter, it's usually something about religion, which I react to not particularly because it is right wing but because religious hegemony is one of my hobby horses. Conversely, I'm socially tolerant so I don't react to some of the stuff that so outrages the righties and I'm pretty green so I don't get bummed over reports about global warming or Greenpeace antics, even though I don't necessarily agree with them. It's not a partisan thing, just a few issue areas that grab our respective attention. Did you review the news broadcasts last night to see how they handled it? I was expecting a report. <g> The only news I watched last night was a bit of the local ABC affiliate, which covered the "exoneration" briefly.
