Bob Prechter. His latest book, Conquer the Crash: You Can Survive and Prosper in a Deflationary Depression

I bought that book and was not impressed.

I didn't learn much from it that I didn't already know.

I thought perhaps he would have been a touch more enlightening on how to thrive or survive during a great depression but he offered a mere page or two with out anything other than general ideas.
(Perhaps I should read some history books about the Great Depression...)

I thought Ravi Batra's book was better than Precter's.
The Crash of the Millennium : Surviving the Coming Inflationary Depression

The only problem is Batra wrote his a few years too early.
I would think there would be a lot more people willing to listen to him now rather than a few years ago.

I wonder if he will rerelease it changing it from Inflationary Depression to Deflationary? <g>
