Patterns: Dave what we might discover is not any real market correlation but simply the patterns and triggers that are being used by the buy program computers of the hedge funds and traders. They have to program trigger points which they act on. Most likely they are index based and multiple indexes are involved. I will keep looking. That's how I found the VIX XAU strange relationship yesterday. It won't make the market change in any real way, but it may alert us as to when these sudden moves are likely to be sprung on us.
