which the GAO was "unable to conclude" was any worse than similar sabotage by previous transition pranksters in 1981 and 1993

I like this remark from the CNN report. "Unable to conclude" that it was any worse. But NEVER, to my knowledge, was there any documented or even alleged vandalism under previous [adult] administrations. This is so typical of a CNN story -- excise chunks of the story which appear to be favorable to liberals.

Not that I don't believe it didn't happen (how many negatives is that?;-), but the USAToday link quoted $4,850 for 62 keyboards being replaced. That is $78 per keyboard! No wonder we have to pay such ridiculously high taxes...

re:clinton kids

Liberal CNN link good enough?
cnn.com

Steve, first like I said before, this has got to be the most anal issue I have run across on this thread......here we are under terrorist threat 24/7 and you all are worried about vasoline and glue on desk drawers.

Secondly, there seems to be real disagreement as to the extent of "the vandalism", [and I don't consider cartoons on walls, or vasoline and glue as vandalism] between the GAO and the Bush cry babies.

Finally, you seem to miss the part in the CNN article, and you all always do, where it points on that these pranks like the phone calls going to closets is part of a transition tradition dating back to the Reagan years. In fact, the last example of such a tradition was the transition from Bush Sr. to Clinton.

So, please, get over the bushit! Its getting real old.
