Actually there are good reasons to decriminalize pot. Law enforcement jails and the courts would not be as busy as they are dealing with something no worse than alcohol. Maybe they could be deployed looking for terrorists or white collar crims. The price would certainly tank which would take a business away from organized crime. The present laws are a total waste of our resources.

Actually, alcohol (and tobacco, for that matter) are a hell of a lot worse when looked at from the vantage of the harm they do in society... as well as the actual medical risks, and the addictive potentials.
