BWAC, that's all true and due process is crucial. However, if allegations against other firms are made and the media makes a big deal about it, traders will sell stocks fist and ask questions later.

In market trading, we need to separate due process from the way the markets will intrepret the merest hint of impropriety. If there is a fear that other firms were involved, then there will be a fear that accounting games were far more widespread than originally feared.
