Dear Charles: Clintons immoral acts, while despicable were not to my knowledge illegal. What galls people like myself and others is his acceptance of bribes etc. for things already discussed like the Chinese thing, the pardon thing and others. JDN

It wasn't the sexual failings of BillyBubba that I was concerned about. It was the perjury, subornation of perjury and misuse of his office as well as his clear violation of his oath of office (to uphold and defend the Constitution and laws).

I don't beleive the impeachment articles concerned sex either. That's an old fact free demolib fable....

"Bush's will be soon, I suspect"

What are they? Good example of prejudiced thinking you are providing.

"Clinton's primarily sexual failings"

Renting out the Licoln room, raiding FBI files of enemies, selling missile technology to the Chinese, engaging in shady land deals that result in over 10 convictions, a suicide, a $400,000 payoff to Hubbell and the prosecution of his succesor at Governor.

Then having the gall to lie to a judge about his sexual escapades with an impressionable and in love intern while being investigated for sexual harrasment. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there was and $800,000 settlement, a disbarring in his home state, not being allowed to EVER argue a case in front of the Supreme Court.......

Bush on the other hand got a misdemeaner dui 25 years ago, a legal loan from Harken that he repaid, and a missing form from his lawyer (although he personally reported it) in a case that was over 10 years ago and has been investigated by the SEC.

Maybe those charges are the same to you, but to me, and to most HONEST Americans there is a pretty big difference. One of the Presidents MAIN jobs imo is to set an example for the American people. The example that Clinton set was DISGUSTING imo. Judging by the support that you give his behavior (along with most of the demo party) I can only assume that many people will justify behavior such as lying to judges, cheating on spouses and praying on gullable youngsters for sex.

Nice example Charly.
