I think there's some basis in what he says.

It wouldn't surprise me if some of it is organized, rather than uncoordinated.

JMHO, of course.

"the Day-traders & some Hedge Funds are running THIS market --- they watch the news (& CNBC) and trade (sell-short or buy) based on the perceived
'news' momentum or their based-on-position needs) ... it's sort of like a cabal (unofficial/uncoordinated) --- feeding on each others taught/learned (similar)
teachings/lessons.' --- this is a paraphrase."

What's new about this? Perhaps that more people are now employing the same tactics that large trading companies, large funds, and pension funds have been doing with their computer trading programs? Maybe what's happening is that the market is getting more efficient because more entities are reacting to every bit of news or imagined news that floats by?

>>>Jeff Sluman wears HP shirt to win GMO

Here's some HP advertising money that finally paid off: Jeff Sluman won the Greater Milwaukee Open (PGA golf tournament) today while wearing a shirt that said "HP Invent". Considering his hat said "Paychex", I'm guessing that the shirt rights were not expensive for HP. Sluman is one of the most-liked players on the PGA tour, so the HP advertising was a smart move. Congratulations to Sluman, and whoever authorized the advertising money for his shirt. Probably will see the HP logo in a few sports sections tomorrow, thanks to the golf win. <<<
