Rydex Dynamic Funds allow 2 trading times per day, others do not. Sometimes it is helpful to be able to make a morning trade and not have to be locked in until the close.

Thanks Augie..

I just read the post RE: Rydex and trading more than once a day.

That is vaguely what I remember from my prior research..I seem to remember that Rydex was more flexible regarding trading times.

I will look into it.

I want the S&P to bounce..940-950..SO I can buy some of these shorting vehicles.
I dont feel right buying straight into this sell off

Chris

Okay....I did a little digging

Rydex has 4 funds that you could trade at 2 trading times during the day...Tempest is one of those funds

However, in order to trade in that manner...your Account would have to be with Rydex-directly
In addition..in order to have a "Rydex" account-- the initial minimum is $25,000

So...Since Profunds has a slightly lower operating expense and I plan on keeping my account at Schwab instead of opening a whole new account---At this point I will probably go with ProFunds
Although they are virtually identical it appears
That is my quick analysis FWIW
