in last two years, major stocks are trading with their index

for most of 2000, 2001, 2002, tech stocks rose and fell with the NazComp
not exactly in perfect synch, but closely
quick recoveries in late afternoons lifted all big techs

now we are seeing the same thing happen with S&P stocks
that tells me that major stocks are tied to the fate of the S&P index

mutual funds have weighting, heavily tilted toward S&P ratios
index funds are obviously weighted to S&P ratios
SPX is a basket available for trading as a unit
options are tied to SPX directly
SPX has a futures contract tied to it

unless a serious credible argument can be put forth,
these major stocks trade up/down with their indexes
regardless of their individual PEratios

rising tide lifts all boats
departing tide beaches all boats
departing tide exposes all corruption and thievery

DOES ANYONE NOW REGARD A DECLINING DOLLAR AS BENEFICIAL ???
the press in April and May said it would be
HOW DOES IT TASTE SO FAR ?
(exactly as bad as I said, with the worst coming yet)
