Don, re: It [is] more about marketing and obtaining mass demand.

Look at Adobe, their Windows/Mac apps revenues run 70%-80% Windows after starting out essentially 100% Mac.

Don,

Normally I would agree with you. However, the means by which 802.11b ran Intel's Home RF networks off the map gives me encouragement that the masses can actually demand and get better solutions. Apple and the masses made WiFi work. This time I think the consumer electronics world will pick the inter-component networking solution - not the PC world.
