I saw the market getting real strange back in August of 2000. I was swing trading the QQQ and the market wouldn't respond to good news and was getting real choppy. Good old Al (Greenspan) was determined to burst the bubble (and he sure did) so I cashed out within a dollar of the top on QQQ. Best trade of my life. Took my money and bought three transmission franchises that were belly up. Turned them around and sold them a year and a half later and made more than I could have ever made in the market. Very lucky and very good trade. I feel for you guys that were in during all the crap-storm that followed. Hope you got to ride some short trades all the way down. Funny thing is that when I was in last the darlings were Enron, Global Crossings and World Com!!!

I'm doing a little real estate currently but really miss my days in the market. It still traded in fractions when I was in last.
