Another way to look at MSFT and its mobile strategy is to consider that the many efforts taken earlier may have been DESIGNED to deceive competitors, to let them think that some of the earlier announcements were what MSFT really was interested in when all along it was its new mobile strategy that counted, but that needed to be concealed until the latest possible moment. And you're right, no company can do this without a huge labor pool of software engineers. Art
