Congress is also to blame for cowtowing to special accounting interest groups and lobbies and not enacting legislation(Arthur Levitt/SEC)years ago to prevent this from happening.

Since you brought it up.... After September 11 pundits said show your patriotism and rally behind the stock market. In reality they should have said donate to your favorite charity not donate to the crooks who run Wall Street.
