no, but professional photoshop users are continually mindful of how long it takes them to get a job done on photoshop, and on really big files there is a significant time savings between using a fast RISC chip and a wintel box....

but if you are just reading a few news clippings, an imac or ibook is plenty fast enough.....

Correct! It isn't that a DP Mac Pro System is that much faster than a high end Wintel. It's that there is no reason for graphics pros to put up with quirky color handling and lousy WYSIWYG in order to gain speed.

The point of the comparison is to impeach the mhz myth.
