Well, I am using ignore as a time saving device, not to ignore opposing opinions. There are a few people who seem to have unlimited time to slander those who have liberal viewpoints, and who at the same time offer very little in the way of substantive content that I am interested in. So it works for me. I personally dont like to argue, and some people say things that are so dumb that I have to speak up, thus embroiling me in a days long verbal barrage. So I think it serves me well to ignore out the caustic edge and lend my time to those who can present their case like gentlemen.
