He seems to have written it in or prior to 1962, according to this Ayn Rand book i have here ... no ISBN number on it, but it's 'A Signet Book Q3304' on the cover, title Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal ... this edition is the first printing by Signet, canadian paperback branch of New American Library, November 1967 [i bought this book new, in early '68 if memory serves] ... copyrights to Ayn Rand starting in 1946, but Alan Greenspan has one registered 1962, presumably for his chapter 4 'Antitrust', chapter 6 'Gold and Economic Freedom', and/or chapter 9 'The Assault on Integrity'

It's the chapter 6 for which he has been famous among goldbugs since he became Fed chairman in '87, but the Antitrust piece too is interesting in light of the USgov vs Microsoft case during his reign
