Awe, Cing, and Voice apparently believe that 3g is a non event. Otherwise why would they accept the inevitable delay with they're chosen migration path? I guess it can be argued that their technologists believe the crap from nok and company but I kind of wonder if that's possible. How much self deception is really involved on the part of the execs at the tdma, gsm companies? Perhaps they believe that taken as a whole they are in much better financial straits than the cdma group and that they will weather the storms with their financial muscle and see the fledgling cdma operators go under. I doubt the gsm tdma people believe they are running their companies into the ground. I would love to know what's going on in Rod Nelson's mind. Anyone have any ideas?
