Yes, I agree that we are entering a new phase of "Accounting McArthury-ism".

The former CEO of WCOM was paid quite a good amount of money to manage Worldcom's operations. If he did not know what was going on, then the former CEO of WCOM was incompetent. On the other hand, if the former CEO of WCOM knew what was going on, then the former CEO of WCOM was an accessory to this fraud.

Which one is it?
