Gottfried, your comment is interesting. Rashke and Connor's book makes reference to experienced Market Maker's using point and figure charts (she is/was an options MM on the P-coast). Although she believes that only short term moves in the market can be predicted with any precision, my guess is that PnF charts help to make the occasional long term trades that are "frosting on the cake" in her words.
