Noel, Of course the Arabs don't want the Palestinian Arab problem resolved. The Palestinian problem provides Arabs with the excuse they need to maintain their hatred for Israel and the west. The last thing most Arab leaders want to see is resolution, and that is exactly why they almost universally encouraged Arafat to reject the 2000 peace accord, and instead start the intifada.
