It's becoming clear to eveyone, pro and con, that Bush's actions don't pass the smell test and the fix was in.

The only question is whether the "fix" was good enough, or if a real investigation will have to be done.

Either way, the language of the moderate apologists on tv are those of bystanders excusing the guilty, "gee, it's an old issue, let's get beyond this".

The others are in the ranting phase.
