I think ... ... that the time has come to hedge my portfolio of stocks by investing in out-of-the-money September S&P "puts" ... about $3,000 to $5,000 ought to provide some significant protection, so if equities rally, I will consider it a good insurance premium ... ... Globex opens Sunday night about 6:30 or 7:30 PM EDT ... at that point, I will be buying some "puts" ... thought all of you would like to know ... <g> ... ... actually ... this is my first ever equity "crash" warning (in effect for the next week) ... ... either that, or equities will be up 12% this week ... for you optimists ... <g> ...
