The truth is is that Clinton is a very bright man who did some real good but unfortunately, is fatalistically human and is in need of serious therapy.

My complaint is less with Clinton* (*impeached) and more about Clinton apologists. I can accept that he ran a failed presidency, that the cost to the nation is incalculable, and even that he lied.

Please, you talk in grand, sweeping gestures without saying what you really mean..........."that the cost to the nation is incalculable" You have said that repeatedly in posts........what costs? In two years Bush has undone fiscally what Clinton had corrected in 8. What cost? Fiscal, moral, sexual, all of the above???? We missed an opportunity for greater greatness? What loss?????

It is difficult to accept that people will continue to look past all this and suggest that it didn't happen, that they were eight great years, etc.

You truly need to accept it. Clinton's years, wrongly or rightly, will be seen as a golden era.

They WERE NOT eight great years. Politically, they were the worst eight years in modern times.

For you and your brethren......not for the rest of us.

Look, I can see the good in liberalism. I'm quite liberal myself in some respects. But the basic premises of liberalism are, unfortunately, destructive to our nation. And that, to me, is intolerable.

I don't agree but I am unwilling to argue ad infinitum the wrongness of your beliefs.
