Why is it that when someone makes a comment about a politician from one party, they get replies inferring that they think the opposite about politicians from the other party (dem/rep generally)??

I spoke to what was posted, no more, no less.

I think that Clinton/Gore did far more damage to the American way, the environment, corporate & government corruption, foreign & domestic policies, campaigning, fundraising, ethics, morals, etc., than most of their predecessors. BTW, my biggest beef is that they are both accomplished liars who lack moral & ethical standards necessary to be President & Vice President.

I've never once met a liar with low moral & ethical standards that didn't have it permeate all aspects of their lives...... not once....... And I helped convict quite a few in my time........ I've had others suspended &/or cut off from participating in or receiving Federal funds/contracts........ I've audited many of them....... and I've worked with them. One thing consistent with every one of them. They will do & say whatever they need to, to get what they want, to save their skin, or to massage perceptions....... regardless of the facts....... cold, hard undeniable facts..... it didn't matter. They simply refused to quit lying.

Why should I believe it's different for Clinton/Gore?

What did Clinton do regarding each of the issues that you think Bush is now responsible for? Clinton cut funding to so many programs in such an irresponsible manner that it will take years, perhaps decades to correct the problems he created. His foreign policies were a joke. His pitiful response to terrorist attacks against the USA left a clear message to terrorists worldwide........ we won't retaliate worth a hoot, so feel free to step up your activities against us. Their domestic policies resulted in Bubble II, which is having dramatic domestic & global reprucussions....... and we have yet to all of the consequences play out.

Did Bush cut funding for alternative energy? I'm not aware of this. What additional harm will come from silence on higher mileage requirements that saw ZERO action from Clinton? Do proposals to cut funding mean it is etched in stone (super-fund)?

Why is Bush responsible for silence & proposals, but not Clinton after 8 years in power with real cuts &/or lack of any action?

Just because a man talks a good story & passes along perceptions that are not in touch with reality, doesn't make it so.

"He and many of his crew are as bad as any of the CEO's currently being publicly slapped around."

Got facts? I'm not aware of any real evidence of any wrongdoing. The allegations give me serious pause, but just like Clinton, I'll wait until the facts are sorted out before I draw my conclusions.

We know about Clinton's shenanigans with Whitewater & his lack of ethics & morals were not confined solely to his extramarital escapades.

"He is holding foreign and US citizens without access to legal representation......"

I won't touch that with a ten foot pole. IMO, that is as bad as a guilty black murderer using the race card to get off the hook. It's a crock of crap & I ask you what they should do in lieu of holding suspected terrorists....... all things considered (and I seriously doubt they are detaining anyone that they do not have genuine suspicions regarding terrorism)?

As for my views on Bush/Cheney; I do have several concerns. However, I do think they have done some good things thus far too. Considering the vast problems inherited when they took office & the 9/11 travesty, I'm willing to give them some latitude right now. I do think that their actions regarding 9/11 & the war on terrorism have been appropriate thus far.

Please note that I have not been publicly promoting the current Administration as though they had all the answers or that they were doing everything correctly. That's a fact, so please curb your false perceptions.
