Dear Dumb Dave,

Is your intellect so impaired that you actually believe that that oreo Thompson isn't as crooked as a dog's hind leg?

There's an old joke about "I was born at night, but it wasn't last night." You, fool are the epitome of the opposite effect. For your whole life you've had "Born Yesterday" stamped on your forehead.

Do you believe Thompson "didn't know". You are the exact sort of chump that P.T. Barnum, Jimmy Swaggart and Tammy Faye and Morgan, Stanley and Bre-X love.

You fool, are a sucker. The swindlers love an easy mark like you.

Get a clue.

-Ray

Dave..

Do you always have rosy colored glasses on or are you just hebetudinous?

washingtonpost.com

<<Thompson sold all his stock -- worth nearly $5 million -- in Providian after his confirmation to comply with ethics rules. The sale came a few months before Providian began to disclose looming problems with defaults in its credit card portfolio, problems that led to a collapse of its stock price and the layoffs of thousands of employees>>

Another repeated case of "fox watching the hen house" assignment by Shrub.

"Larry Thompson was unaware of problems at Providian Financial Corp. until they were unearthed by U.S. regulators "

No one has supported these "Gee, I didn't know" type of excuses, except the most gullible non-corporate types.

Treasury Secty was on the tube as were Evens and a number of others. Even the Republicans say that CEOs and BODs know the score, in great detail.
