Excellent article. Just as our founding fathers built a system of checks and balances into the US Constitution, the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial bodies that balance each other out, so too it is ever more apparent today that we need 3 political parties to have equal footing to balance the voice for America. And while I don't agree with everything McCain says, he clearly is at the political forefront of bringing that Independent third party ever closer to legitimacy that is imperative to balance the Republican and Democratic platform.
