MH, thanks for your words of caution. Even LU is still spending a lot on R&D [I saw the numbers somewhere and was surprised]. There are not too many widows and orphans investments any more. [How did orphans ever get money to invest?:)]. Witness the decline of utilities, caused partly by the fact some of them are being investigated. Some, Like PCG and EIX abruptly stopped paying dividends. I'll assume for now that any tech rally will be temporary. I look forward to being proven wrong by the charts.

BTW, in spite of recent poor performance EIX and PCG handily outperformed SP500 over 2 years finance.yahoo.com
