I think NY and Ca are also some of the most populous areas of real estate in the country, are they not? It makes sense that in areas where people have the most contacts with each other, we'll have the most negative (and hopefully positive too) results of people interacting with other people.

You are right, it isn't all of CA, I've read of other CA cops being suspended, It seems to be just Inglewood - & perhaps LA. I think whenever a cop stands accused of breaking a major law endangering the safety & welfare of that public he has pledged to serve & protect, the officer should not work until proven innocent.
