Nixon parallel again. He ran for governor of California in 1962, and got creamed. Edmund G. "Pat" Brown's incompetence for the next eight years launched the career of the so-called "amateur", Ronald Reagan.

The Democrats MAY use him as their sacrificial lamb in 2004. They'll certainly need SOME poor left wing schmuck to fill that roll. But I think Algore gets good enough advice to turn that "honor" down. You don't REALLY think the racist left actually BELIEVES all that propagandistic shit they've been feeding the black base about being "disenfranchised" in 2000, do you?

In a general election, will he do worse than McGovern? Yes it is very possible for sore to steel the dem's nomination.

I think Janet Reno represent's the stupidest that ever was political coattails and I think they will be even shorter in 2004.
