Investment wise speaking you will note from your article that the net investment by Intel was .4 Billion and the gross output in the first year was 1.3 billion. Assuming with out reasearch that the gpm was 50%, then the plant recoup its investment in 2/3rds of a year.

When companies do ROI for foreign investment, this sort of analysis becomes standard operating procedure.

I have not as yet formulated opinions on the political correctness.
