I do not take it personally. You have underestimated this bear for two years, at least Haim. I do not know what the answer is for sure, but I know damn well it ain't fundamentals -- good luck with that discipline my friend. I am sticking to tea leaves for two thirds of the Voodoo Box -- 1/3 TA, 1/3 Elliott, the rest sentiment and a little long-term fundamentals. It has not made me rich, but it pays the bills and has consistently kept me out of trouble.

It's a perceptual filter. It's not magic.
Elliot wave attempts to quantify the emotional state of the majority of investors at any given time by looking at price action.

To state that TA has never made anyone money is to say that no one makes money. Nearly everyone that trades professionally looks at charts.
