You have to admit its good copy though :-)

Its the flip side of the European press. They see the US as a unilateralist. A 'bad-cop' to their 'good-cop' in world affairs.

A lot of Americans see the Europeans as lightweights who talk a lot, but don't put their money or forces where their mouths go (contributing what percentage of the forces?).

There is fair amount of truth to both views.
